2008 ChristieCare Cup Golf Classic
One of Oregon’s most popular and unique golf tournaments – the ChristieCare Cup Pro Am Series & Golf Classic – is set for September 7-8, 2008.
Festivities get underway with the pre-tournament dinner and pairing party on Sunday Sept. 7th, where amateur teams are matched with their professionals in the casual, relaxed setting of the Multnomah Athletic Club. This year’s expanded field of 48 teams then takes to Columbia Edgewater Country Club’s immaculate layout the following day – with both morning and afternoon starts available.
The ChristieCare Cup Pro Am Series & Golf Classic is a partnership between ChristieCare and the Oregon Chapter of the Professional Golfers Association (OPGA). The tournament is the championship event of the OPGA Pro Am Series, which takes place February to September on golf courses throughout Oregon. All proceeds benefit ChristieCare children and families.
