The Christie School receives Landmark Designation

May 5, 2009–The City of Lake Oswego has awarded ChristieCare a Landmark Designation Plaque for The Christie School’s administration building. Built in 1908 as an orphanage run by the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary, the building is now ChristieCare’s administration building, located on The Christie School campus which includes Psychiatric Residential facilities and a Sub-Acute facility for young people struggling with mental health issues.ChristieCare is especially proud to receive this plaque of Landmark Designation in 2009, the year of our 150th anniversary, making us one of the oldest social service agencies in Oregon.
