Access Criteria
ChristieCare provides services to children enrolled in Medicaid or a participating private insurance plan, as well as to children whose families are capable of paying for services through other means.
Oregon’s Medicaid services – provided within the Oregon Health Plan – are structured so that children may gain access through one of nine Mental Health Organizations (MHOs), which are regional agencies that administer the mental health benefits of the Oregon Health Plan. Referrals are generally made by the applicable County Mental Health Provider (CMHP) located in each Oregon county. Children outside of Oregon may access ChristieCare programs through Medicaid services in their own states.
