Medical Services
Our dedicated and experienced medical team provides comprehensive physical health care and psychiatric services to each ChristieCare child. Physical health care is provided by five full-time registered nurses, a nurse practitioner and a licensed dietician. Psychiatric services are delivered by three certified child and adolescent psychiatrists and contracted psychologists for comprehensive assessment and testing. In addition, Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) places its Psychiatric Fellows at The Christie School for regular clinical rotations.
ChristieCare’s focus on both the physical and mental health of our children is consistent with one of the key principles of our Re-EDucation™ treatment philosophy, which states: The body is the armature of the self, the physical self around which the psychological self is constructed.
