Child Welfare Hotline
In order to ensure that skilled professionals are available around-the-clock to respond to crisis calls regarding children, ChristieCare provides after-hours coverage for the Oregon Department of Human Services Crisis Information Hotline. Our Hotline staff are prepared to respond to emergency calls, assess reports of child abuse, neglect and abandonment, make shelter and foster care referrals and provide consultation and guidance to callers. This service is based at the Children’s Receiving Center (CRC) and is consistent with the CRC’s focus on timely intervention for children and families in crisis. The Hotline number is 503-731-3100 and is available to any caller in Oregon.
